IP video surveillance projects — designed, deployed and operated end-to-end.
From single-site deployments to multi-location IP video infrastructures, Inithex designs, installs and operates surveillance systems that integrate into your security operations — not isolated CCTV silos. Centralized management, AI-powered analytics, secure storage and integration with access control and identity systems.
Our team designs surveillance for corporate facilities, retail loss prevention, industrial safety, logistics yards, multi-tenant properties and critical infrastructure — using Hikvision, Dahua, Axis and Ubiquiti cameras with VMS integration (Milestone, Genetec, vendor-native).
What’s included in a surveillance project
- Site assessment & design — coverage analysis, camera placement, lighting/weather considerations, network sizing, storage calculation.
- Camera deployment — indoor / outdoor / specialized (thermal, LPR for license plate recognition, PTZ, 360°, panoramic).
- Video Management System (VMS) — centralized control, multi-site federation, role-based access.
- Video analytics — motion detection, people/vehicle counting, perimeter intrusion, loitering, abandoned object detection.
- AI-powered analytics — facial recognition (where legal), behavior analysis, queue management, heat mapping, theft pattern detection.
- Integration with access control — unified physical security operations (badge + camera correlation).
- Storage architecture — on-premise NVR, cloud retention, or hybrid strategies with retention policies.
- Network design — dedicated VLANs, PoE switching, redundancy, bandwidth management.
- Compliance — privacy regulations (GDPR, LATAM data protection), retention policies, evidence chain of custody.
- 24/7 monitoring — security operations center (SOC) with human review or AI-assisted triage.
Technology partners
Hikvision · Dahua · Axis Communications · Ubiquiti · Bosch. We deploy what fits your environment, regulatory context and budget — not what fits a vendor quota. VMS: Milestone XProtect, Genetec Security Center, or vendor-native platforms.
Use cases we deliver
- Corporate facilities and offices — access control + perimeter + interior
- Retail loss prevention and customer flow analytics
- Industrial / manufacturing safety monitoring and SOP compliance
- Logistics yards and warehouse perimeter security
- Multi-tenant residential and commercial properties
- Educational institutions (with privacy-aware design)
- Healthcare facilities (HIPAA-aware deployment)
- Critical infrastructure (utilities, water, transportation)
Frequently asked questions
How many cameras do we need?
It depends on coverage requirements. Best practice: design for use cases (perimeter, entry/exit, high-value area, blind spots), not arbitrary camera count. A 5,000 m² warehouse typically needs 20–40 cameras. A retail store: 8–15. We do a free site assessment to size accurately.
How long do we keep recordings?
Driven by use case + regulation. Standard retention: 30 days for general monitoring, 90 days for loss prevention, 1 year for high-security or legal requirement. Storage cost is the primary driver — we recommend tiered retention (full quality 30 days, lower quality 90 days, event-only 1 year).
Can we integrate surveillance with our existing security systems?
Yes. We integrate VMS with access control (HID, Lenel, Brivo), alarm systems, building management, intrusion detection. Single pane of glass for security operations. Modern VMS (Milestone, Genetec) have rich integration APIs for this.
What about privacy regulations (GDPR, local data protection)?
Critical to design with privacy from day one. We implement: visible signage at all camera locations, privacy masks on areas we shouldn’t record (windows into private spaces), limited retention, restricted access logs, encryption at-rest and in-transit, data processing agreements with vendors. Compliance with local law (Chile Ley 19.628, LGPD Brazil, GDPR if EU presence) is built in.
Do you offer 24/7 monitored surveillance?
Yes. Our SOC can monitor your camera feeds 24/7 with human review or AI-assisted triage (motion detection + intelligent prioritization). Faster than after-the-fact review for active incidents. Typical for retail, logistics, critical infrastructure.
